A comprehensive plan for the sustainable development of the city of Sharm El Sheikh is currently being developed to integrate low carbon technologies, sustainable water supply and resource use, effective waste management, pollution prevention measures, and best practices for protected area management to safeguard biodiversity and natural resources of the area.
